My Review:

Just like my last movie review I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, The Glass. I don’t know why people say it’s awful it is really good. I guess if you’re a die-hard comic fan then I suppose I can understand why people would not like it so much, but I’m not, so there you go. All the Actor’s did such an amazing job themselves.

Honestly, the first movie, Unbreakable, I didn’t enjoy so much.

I’m pretty sure the box office was a hit, it grossed in at $111 million in the United States and Canada, and $135.9 million in other territories, for a total worldwide gross of $247 million, against a production budget of $20 million, according to the internet reviews.

It can’t be that bad of a movie, right?

๐ŸŒŸ 10 stars for me.

Movie Review: Joker

My youngest son and I got to see Joker this past Saturday, it’s no surprise that he absolutely loved it. However, I did as well. I had no idea what to expect with this movie, so here is my take on it.

Synopsis By IMBD:

Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) is struggling to find his way in Gothamโ€™s fractured society. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at nightโ€ฆbut finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events.

My Review:

The actor Joaquin Phoenix that played Joker, did such an AMAZING job. Dark, haunting, grotesque and spookish too, not to mention the emotion(s) that you feel towards the Joker. Such a roller coaster ride of emotion. It really is a fantastic movie that you don’t want to take your eyes off the screen. I defintely think Heath Ledger would be extremely proud /impressed with this movie.

I gave this movie 10 stars ๐ŸŒŸ

Have you seen Joker and if so what did you think?

Book Review: Vittorio The Vampire.

Book Description By Author: Anne Rice

Educated in the Florence of Cosimo de’ Medici, trained in knighthood at his father’s mountaintop castle, Vittorio inhabits a world of courtly splendor and country pleasures – a world suddenly threatened when his entire family is confronted by an unholy power.

In the midst of this upheaval, Vittorio is seduced by the vampire Ursula, the most beautiful of his supernatural enemies. As he sets out in pursuit of vengeance, entering the nightmarish Court of the Ruby Grail, increasingly more enchanted (and confused) by his love for the mysterious Ursula, he finds himself facing demonic adversaries, war and political intrigue.

Against a backdrop of the wonders – both sacred and profane – and the beauty and ferocity of Renaissance Italy, Anne Rice creates a passionate and tragic legend of doomed young love and lost innocence.

My Review:

I honestly don’t even know what to think. I love the fact that Anne Rice incorporated Angels and demons, but it just seems like Vittorio talks way too much, lol. I found myself more than a couple of times wanting to put this book down but then I’m thinking “hang in there, this gets better” It was my persistence with pushing through with this book. All in all it still has the good, evil, blood and love all wrapped in and therefore im giving this book four ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ stars.

Have you read this book and if so, did you like it?
